The Hotel, Reception and Housekeeping Teams at The Essex Golf & Country Club are all dedicated to ensuring that every guest is well looked after. This modern Golf and Country Club Hotel is 4 miles from Marks Hall Gardens and Arboretum and 9 miles from Braintree Shopping Village. The Essex is the perfect place to stay in this idyllic countryside location. Colchester, Britain's oldest recorded town is just a 20 minute drive where you can visit the historic Castle and Colchester Zoo.

The stylish rooms all include flat-screen TVs, free WiFi and have tea and coffee making facilities available.

The club offers an 18-hole championship golf course and a 9-hole garden course as well as a driving range. There are also 3 private meeting spaces that can host between 10-180 guests for both conferences, Weddings and other special occasions.

Our Pulse bar offers a full dining menu whilst also offering a variety of beverages, snacks and afternoon tea. Make the most of our outdoor terrace by taking a seat outside with views overlooking our golf course.
